Vlog. Blog. Sleeping Like A Log
Yes, fine. I will fully admit it. I am the type of person who will continue to take on new things until I overflow with too much to do and not enough time to do it in.
I want to write weekly blog posts. I want to do a weekly vlog, or at least create decent video content for YouTube. Then there's IGTV and Instagram stories. Facebook. Twitter. All the usual suspects. Oh, and I have a day job that is kind of woven into it all. Plus a second job that kicks-in to full gear in a couple of weeks. I'm looking at you Moorpark College.
One thing to be said about keeping so busy, when I do finally get into bed, I sleep like a log. It may only be for 5 or 6 hours, but wow - It's some solid-slid sleep!
Nonetheless, this short little blog entry is to celebrate the
completion of two videos that I have waned to make for a while. Well, actually, the plan was to make just one video. But once it was completed, it seemed to be too long for today's expected video length. So I cut out a section to shorten it down before posting it to YouTube a couple of weeks ago.
But then a lot of the questions I received made it clear that the section I cut out was needed after all. So I made a second video to cover the section that was cut out of the original video.
However, I didn't just want to replicate the first video when making the second one. So I took a different direction for the visuals. Even though the second one was an extension of the first one's topic, I wanted it to feel different. I wanted to challenge myself a little too. Not that shooting and editing everything on my phone wasn't challenging enough. I just wanted to challenge myself on the creative side a little bit more. Sort of a sub-plot told though the visuals.
So, if you haven't seen them already, take a look for yourself and let me know what you think...
